Value sells rooms, not price. not at all. Value is strictly combined with price to generate the willingness to pay of a guest.

So

value + price = willingness to pay/buying process.

The revenue manager works on revenue not on costs, he can have a look at them but he cannot work on them.

this is for the supply office, if the revenue manager works everyday on selling best the rooms, does he can take time to control how much time is spent in cleaning a room? the answer is no.
